Strawberry curd

Spread the love

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 1 bowl of strawberries
  • 1 cl orange liqueur
  • 2 cl rum (Jamaican rum)
  • 100 g sugar
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 1 shot of milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with a twist

Add sugar to the strawberries and marinate them in the alcohol. Wait 30 minutes until they’re saturated and have released their juice. Mix the low-fat quark (undrained) with a splash of milk and sweeten if desired. Remember that the strawberries and their juice will also thin the mixture. Mix everything together. This is also ideal with gelatin on a cake base for a summer cake. The photos also suggest serving it with cereal and a crumbled Kinder bar.
