Rike's mint chocolate panna cotta

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml milk
  • 100 ml cream
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 handful of mint, fresh chocolate mint leaves
  • 50 g dark chocolate coating
  • 30 g chocolate, 99% cocoa content
  • 3 sheets of gelatin

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 minutes; Total time approx. 33 minutes

The chocolate mint was growing so beautifully on the balcony…

Bring the milk to a boil with the cream, sugar, and salt. Let the mint steep for about 15 minutes, then squeeze it well and remove it. Melt the chocolate coating and chocolate in it. Soften the gelatin in a little water, squeeze it out, and dissolve it in the milk mixture. Divide it among four small glasses and let it set. The cream would probably also taste good with just dark chocolate coating or chocolate. I like it with this very dark chocolate.
