Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 150 g pitted dates
- 300 ml orange juice
- 1 tsp orange peel, untreated, grated
- 1 pinch of cinnamon powder
- 100 g double cream cheese
- 300 g yogurt (1.5% fat)
- 2 tsp pistachios, freshly chopped
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Finely dice the dates, bring to a boil with the orange zest, cinnamon, and orange juice in a small saucepan, and simmer over low heat for 1 minute. Then puree everything with a food processor and let cool completely. Beat the cream cheese until smooth and gradually stir in the yogurt. Layer a layer of yogurt cream in 4 glasses, top with the date compote, and finish with a layer of yogurt cream. Sprinkle with pistachios. No sugar is added, as the date compote is very sweet.
