Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ring/s of meat sausage
- 1 pack of grated cheese (Emmental)
- 1 tomato(s)
- Mustard (Finnish or Swedish or milder)
- ketchup
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel back the skin of the sausage and score it evenly. Add coarsely grated cheese and tomato slices to the slices. Spread mustard and ketchup on the sausage ring. Bake in the oven at 250°C until the cheese is melted and the sausage has a crust. Saunawurst is delicious with beer and fresh bread.
