SchmackoFatz bean stew with buttermilk

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 jar green beans
  • 5 m.-sized potatoes
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 2 Cabanossi
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 100 ml white wine
  • 1 tsp broth, granulated
  • 800 ml buttermilk
  • 1 tbsp mustard
  • 1 tbsp thyme, dried
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • ½ bunch parsley

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

when things have to go quickly

Peel the potatoes, cut into small cubes, and cook until tender. Meanwhile, dice the onion and Cabanossi and fry the Cabanossi in a soup pot with the butter. Add the onion, fry, and deglaze with the wine. Immediately add the thyme. Once the wine has evaporated, add the buttermilk, stock, and mustard. Bring to a boil, then add the potatoes and beans. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Just before serving, finely chop the parsley and stir in.
