Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 250 g butter or margarine
- 260 g sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 450 g flour
- 1 packet of baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 250 ml milk
- 1 jar cherry(s)
- 50 g chocolate sprinkles or
- Chocolate shavings
- possibly chocolate coating, dark
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Sponge cake with cherries, also suitable for other shapes
First, cream together the butter or margarine, sugar, eggs, and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Gradually stir in the salt and milk. Mix the flour with the baking powder and add to the mixture. Finally, slowly fold in the chocolate sprinkles and cherries. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake at 190°C (top/bottom heat) for about 60 minutes. Let cool and, if desired, cover with chocolate coating.
