Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 kg rhubarb
- 1 orange(s), untreated
- 50 g sugar
- 2 packets of vanilla sugar
- e.g. water or juice

A delight in early summer!
Peel the rhubarb, cut into thumb-thick pieces, wash, and drain. Wash and slice the orange. Caramelize the sugar and vanilla sugar in a saucepan. Add the rhubarb and orange slices, deglaze with a little water, and bring to a boil. Let cool and serve with vanilla pudding (for the acidity). The sugar amounts vary according to taste. You can also use orange or apple juice instead of water.
