Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 2 handfuls of mixed nuts, e.g. hazelnuts, walnuts, peanuts, cashews, etc.
- 1 tbsp, heaped raisins
- 1 apple
- 3 tbsp, heaped rice, cooked
- 1 tbsp oat flakes
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 shot of oil
- 1 handful of sunflower seeds
Instructions
Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Toast the nuts, sunflower seeds, and oats in a little oil. Meanwhile, quarter the apple, remove the core, then halve the pieces again and cut into small slices. Add these to the pan and fry briefly. The raisins can be added at the same time as the apple. After half a minute, add the rice. I’ve also tried it with millet and amaranth, and that works too; just wash both thoroughly beforehand and let them swell long enough, stir briefly to heat everything up, and you’re done. Tip: I think grapes taste great instead of apples, but I’d avoid bananas, as they tend to get too mushy.
