Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, floury
  • 60 g butter
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 350 ml milk, hot
  • Salt
  • nutmeg
  • 250 g applesauce
  • 125 ml cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

easy and fast

Peel and wash the potatoes, and boil them in salted water. Drain the water and let the potatoes cool slightly. Press them through a potato ricer while still hot. While stirring constantly, add the butter, egg yolk, and milk. Season with salt and freshly grated nutmeg. Finally, stir in the applesauce and cream. Delicious with meatballs or fried black pudding, or simply on its own.
