Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¾ liter dry red wine
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 stalk(s) cinnamon
  • 2 cloves
  • ¼ vanilla pod(s)
  • 1 star anise
  • 4 slices of lemon

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Split the vanilla pod. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and heat gently. Do not boil, as this will dissipate the aroma. As soon as a white foam forms, strain the liquid through a sieve, discard the spices, and season to taste.
