Mango-Chili Tartare

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 large mango(s) (air-dried mango, but can also be diced frozen mango)
  • 6 tbsp forest honey
  • 15 leaves mint, fresh
  • 1 pinch of chili powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

First, separate the mango wedges from the pit and peel the skin. Then, chop the mango pieces into small pieces (1-4 mm). Transfer the mixture to a bowl. Add the wild honey and stir well. Finely chop the mint and add it as well. Stir again, then gently season with chili powder and let it sit for half an hour. Tip: This goes particularly well with vanilla ice cream drizzled with Styrian pumpkin seed oil or olive oil.
