Iced tea with peach and currant juice

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • 4 tea bags, black
  • 200 ml currant juice
  • 100 ml peach juice
  • e.g. mint
  • ½ lemon(s), the juice
  • 10 ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 5 minutes

No sugar or sweeteners. Also suitable for children.

Bring the water to a boil. Let the tea bags steep in the water for about 5 minutes. Allow the tea to cool. In a large jug, mix the peach juice, blackcurrant juice, and the squeezed juice of half a lemon with the tea. Lightly roughen the mint with your fingers and add it to the jug. Before serving, add ice cubes and fresh mint leaves to the glasses. If you don’t have any mint, the tea will still taste very refreshing without it. If you want the tea sweeter, you can simply use more juice or less lemon. Peach juice in particular makes the tea very sweet, which is why the dosage is less. I wouldn’t add any sugar or sweetener because 1) it’s much less healthy and 2) juice alone tastes better.
