the summery-fresh version with lots of vitamins
Slice the onion into thin rings and marinate them in a small bowl of salted water for about 20 minutes. This will reduce the spiciness of the onion and make it milder when eaten. In the meantime, cut the Leberkäse sliced meat into 1-2 cm wide strips and place them in a large salad bowl (if you bought a whole piece of Leberkäse instead of cold cuts, cut it into bite-sized cubes). Halve the cucumber lengthwise and remove the seeds with a teaspoon (optional if you are not eating the salad immediately). Then cut it into thin slices and add them to the bowl with the Leberkäse. Dice the bell peppers and add them to the salad bowl. Thinly slice the radishes and add them, along with the finely chopped parsley. In a small bowl, combine the vinegar and oil and season with salt and pepper to taste to make a salad dressing. Remove the onion rings from the salted water and squeeze the liquid lightly. Add them to the remaining ingredients along with the salad dressing and mix everything well using salad servers. Enjoy immediately as you wish or let it sit in a cool place for another hour.
