Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp almonds (optional 50% almonds 50% walnuts)
  • 2 pinches of clove powder
  • 2 pinches of cinnamon powder
  • 1 pinch of ginger powder
  • some vanilla pod(s), approx. 1 cm
  • 1 soft fig
  • 1 soft date
  • 200 ml milk or plant milk
  • 15 ml water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with the sweetness of dried fruits

Lightly toast the almonds in a pan. Then, in a high-powered blender, blend them with the spices, vanilla bean powder, dried fruit, and water until smooth. Add the milk and blend thoroughly. Ideally, let the drink rest in the refrigerator for a few hours so the flavors can better blend with the milk. Heat the drink and blend again with the blender to create a froth. You can also serve the drink freshly prepared. In this case, I heat the milk beforehand and blend the base with the hot milk right from the start.
