Silke's Gnocchi and Minced Meat Casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 300 g cream cheese with herbs
  • 300 g feta cheese
  • 1 bowl of mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 bell pepper(s), red
  • 200 ml milk or cream
  • 250 g cocktail tomatoes
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • Spice mix (gyros spice)
  • salt and pepper
  • Oil for frying

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

quick, tasty, easy

Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions. Brown the ground meat in a pan and season with the gyro seasoning, then remove from the pan. Now brown the mushroom slices in the same pan. Clean the bell peppers, cut them into strips, and brown them as well. Crumble the feta cheese. Mix all ingredients together and place in a deep casserole dish. Heat the herb cream cheese and milk in the pan and season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Then pour over the casserole. Wash the tomatoes, slice them, and place them on the casserole (if you like, you can also sprinkle grated cheese or feta cheese on top). Finally, bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 40 minutes.
