Apple Pancakes – Egg Free

The perfect apple pancakes – egg free recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Chickpea flour
  • 200 g Flour (of your choice, e.g. also rice flour)
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 big pinch Salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 550 -600 ml Milk, milk substitute or mineral water
  • 1 piece Strong apple
  1. Sieve the chickpea flour and baking powder, mix well with all the dry ingredients.
  2. Mix in half of the milk with a whisk or the whisk of the food processor, then work in the rest of the milk. The result should be a homogeneous, smooth dough.
  3. Let rest for at least 30 minutes.
  4. In the meantime, finely dice the apple and mix it into the batter at the end of the resting time.
  5. Heat a pan over medium heat and brush with oil. I like to do this with a brush, because when you pour the oil, too much often gets into the pan.
  6. Bake the pancakes one by one.
  7. In between, stir the dough and brush the pan again and again.
  8. To serve you can sprinkle the pancakes with some powdered sugar or spread some chocolate cream on top.
