Currant Jam Toast with Chia Seeds

The perfect currant jam toast with chia seeds recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Currant and blackberry jam

  • 0,5 tsp Chia seeds
  • 0,5 tsp Margarine
  • 75 g Black currants
  • 75 g Blackberries
  • 1 tbsp Agave syrup
  • 1 tsp Locust bean gum
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  1. For the jam, wash the berries and puree them with the agave syrup, the locust bean gum and the lemon juice. Then transfer to a glass.
  2. For the toast, toast the bread slice and brush it first with margarine and then with the jam. Sprinkle the chia seeds on top and consume immediately.
