Cake: Foxy’s Yeast Dough
The perfect cake: foxy’s yeast dough recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Sifted flour
- 1 cube Yeast
- 75 g Sugar
- 100 g Margarine
- 1 pinch Salt
- 150 ml Milk lukewarm
- I sifted the flour into the bowl of my food processor, pressed a depression in the middle and crumbled the yeast into it. Sprinkle this with 1/2 teaspoon of sugar and add lukewarm milk (enough to almost cover the yeast). Then I loosely covered the bowl with a Tupperware lid, covered it with a kitchen towel and placed it on the windowsill over the heater for 20 minutes.
- Then knead the remaining ingredients with the dough hook and the food processor to form a medium-firm dough.
