Ingredients
- 70 g Sugar
- 125 ml Milk warm
- 0,5 cube Yeast
- 1 Egg
- 350 g Flour
- 1 pinch Salt
- 50 g Butter
For painting
- 1 Twisted egg yolk
- 1 Granulated sugar
Instructions
- Make a pre-dough from the crumbled yeast, sugar and warm milk and let rise for 15 minutes.
- Make a soft yeast dough with the pre-dough and the remaining yeast dough ingredients, my food processor does that.
- Then leave it covered until the yeast dough has doubled.
- Knead the dough again, form 2 knots. Then distribute both on a baking sheet and let rise for another 15 minutes.
- Brush with the whisked egg yolk and sprinkle with plenty of sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 175 C for about 25 minutes until light brown.
- I frozen one right after it got cold ... for Christmas 😉
