Baking: Chocolate and Banana Slices

The perfect baking: chocolate and banana slices recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Soft butter
  • 250 g Raw cane sugar
  • 4 piece Free range eggs
  • 500 g Spelled flour type 630
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 0,5 teaspoon Ground lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoon Baking cocoa
  • 150 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Baking powder
  • 3 tablespoon Cream
  • 4 piece Ripe bananas
  • 2 packet Chocolate Icing
  • 3 tablespoon Toasted coconut flakes
  1. Mix the butter, sugar and eggs until frothy. Add flour, salt, cocoa, nuts, vanilla sugar, baking powder and cream and make a heavy batter. Possibly add a little more milk if the dough is too heavy.
  2. Peel the bananas and cut into small cubes. Carefully fold this under the dough.
  3. Line a baking sheet with foil or paper – greasing and crumbling is of course also possible – and distribute the dough evenly on it.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 185 degrees for about 20 – 30 minutes. (Toothpick sample) After taking it out, let it cool down completely, then cover it with chocolate icing and sprinkle with the coconut flakes.
