Hummus with Mince

The perfect hummus with mince recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Paprika pulp
  • 1 Diced shallot
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon Crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Zatar
  • 1 Chili
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame oil
  • 1 Can 230 grams Chunky tomatoes
  • 2 Cans 400 grams Chickpeas
  • 1 Clove of garlic
  • 1 Tangerine fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted sesame seeds
  • 3 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 piece Chili
  • 1 tablespoon Toasted sesame oil
  • Fresh smooth parsley
  • Black sesame
  1. Dice the shallot and chop the garlic. Fry the minced meat with a tablespoon of sesame oil until crumbly. Reduce the heat, add the paprika pulp, garlic, chilli and onion and let simmer for about 5 minutes. Add the tomatoes and spices and simmer for 40 minutes with the pot closed. Season to taste with salt and two pinches of sugar.
  2. Drain the chickpeas through a sieve and rinse. Squeeze the tangerine. Puree the chickpeas with the garlic, mandarin juice, olive and sesame oil, sesame and chilli. Possibly add a little more water.
  3. Put the hummus in a bowl and make a small well. Put the minced meat in the well and add some fresh parsley and black sesame seeds.
  4. You eat the hummus cold and the minced meat warm, if you don’t like that you can also heat the humus in the microwave.
