Tortellini Salad with Kick

The perfect tortellini salad with kick recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Tortellini from the fresh food counter
  • 350 ml Mayonnaise
  • 150 g Low fat yogurt
  • 100 ml Pickled cucumber stock
  • 1 Can Kidney beans
  • 1 Can Corn
  • 200 g Cooked ham
  • 1 toe Garlic
  • 5 piece Gherkins
  • 1 tbsp Worchestershire Sauce
  • 1 Splash Angostura
  • 2 tbsp Hot mustard
  • 1 tsp Chayenne pepper
  • Pepper and salt
  1. Cook the tortellini according to the package instructions (al dente), dice the ham and fry in the pan with the chopped garlic for a few minutes and set aside to cool. Next, stir in a salad dressing made from mayonnaise, yoghurt, mustard, Chayenne pepper, Worchester sauce, Angostura and pickled cucumber stock, mix in the ham / garlic mixture, corn kernels, well washed kidney beans and chopped pickled cucumbers and, last but not least, carefully fold in the cooled tortellini. If necessary, add salt and pepper to taste (I would rather add a little more spicy mustard and cayenne pepper). Can be eaten immediately, but it is also tasty after a few hours.
