Apricot and Ginger Jam; Can Be Prepared with or without Thermomix
The perfect apricot and ginger jam; can be prepared with or without thermomix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 30 g Ginger
- 370 g Apricots, halved and pitted
- 200 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice
- If you like, 1 pinch of gingerbread spice, a little cardamom or chilli flakes
- Chop the peeled ginger in a mixing bowl on level 10 for a few seconds. Add apricots, preserving sugar, lemon juice and, if necessary, additional spices. Puree for 10 seconds / level 10. Push down with the spatula and simmer for 14 minutes / 100 degrees / speed 2. Put the cooking basket on top as a splash guard.
- After the gelling test, pour into prepared jars and close tightly.
