Zucchini and Peppers -gilded-
The perfect zucchini and peppers -gilded- recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Vegetables:
- 350 g Zucchini
- 350 g Paprika (yellow and orange)
Batter:
- 2 Eggs
- 100 g Flour
- 10 tbsp Milk
- 5 tbsp Olive oil
- 1 Strong pinch of salt
- 1 Strong pinch of thyme rubbed
- 1 tbsp Grated hard cheese
- 1 tsp Turmeric
For frying:
- 250 ml Peanut oil
- Salt
- Pepper
To serve:
- Sweet chili sauce
Batter:
- Beat the eggs (2 pieces) in a bowl and whisk with the whisk. Gradually stir in the flour (100 g) and the grated hard cheese (1 tbsp). Season with salt (1 big pinch), rubbed thyme (1 big pinch) and turmeric (1 teaspoon) and fold in / beat in the milk (10 tbsp) and the olive oil (5 tbsp). Let the dough rest for about 10 minutes.
Baking:
- Wash and clean the zucchini and peppers and cut into bite-sized pieces. Heat the oil (250 ml) in the wok to 175 ° C (wooden stick sample / bubbles must rise). Pull the prepared vegetables through the batter and fry them in the hot oil in portions until they are golden-brown. Degrease first on the wok drain grid and then on kitchen paper.
Serve:
- Salt and pepper the gilded zucchini and paprika and serve hot with a sweet chili sauce.
