Camembert in Coat with Toasted Bread, Fried Onions and Cranberry Topping
The perfect camembert in coat with toasted bread, fried onions and cranberry topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 piece Camembert
- 2 piece Eggs
- 4 tablespoon Flour
- 3 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
- 1 piece Onion
- 0,5 liter Deep-Frying fat (mainly vegetable fat)
- 3 tablespoon Milk
- 2 tablespoon Cranberries from the glass
- Salt
- Herbs
- 2 Discs Loaf
preparation
- Preheat the oven to 180 C °.
- Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
- Make a batter out of 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of flour, the milk and the spices. “Bathe” the onions in it.
- Put on the frying fat and let it get hot.
The cheese
- Turn the cheese in flour – egg – and breadcrumbs.
- Bake in the hot fat until light brown, remove and keep warm in the oven.
- Fry the onions in portions until light brown.
- Debark the bread, do not throw it away – eat it on the side :)) – When everything is ready, toast the bread.
Serving like I do. . .
- Place the cheese in the middle of a plate, place the fried onions around and top the cheese with the cranberries. Cut the toasted bread diagonally and place it next to the cheese. FINISHED
