Camembert in Coat with Toasted Bread, Fried Onions and Cranberry Topping

The perfect camembert in coat with toasted bread, fried onions and cranberry topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 2 piece Camembert
  • 2 piece Eggs
  • 4 tablespoon Flour
  • 3 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 0,5 liter Deep-Frying fat (mainly vegetable fat)
  • 3 tablespoon Milk
  • 2 tablespoon Cranberries from the glass
  • Salt
  • Herbs
  • 2 Discs Loaf

preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 180 C °.
  2. Peel the onion and cut into half rings.
  3. Make a batter out of 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of flour, the milk and the spices. “Bathe” the onions in it.
  4. Put on the frying fat and let it get hot.

The cheese

  1. Turn the cheese in flour – egg – and breadcrumbs.
  2. Bake in the hot fat until light brown, remove and keep warm in the oven.
  3. Fry the onions in portions until light brown.
  4. Debark the bread, do not throw it away – eat it on the side :)) – When everything is ready, toast the bread.

Serving like I do. . .

  1. Place the cheese in the middle of a plate, place the fried onions around and top the cheese with the cranberries. Cut the toasted bread diagonally and place it next to the cheese. FINISHED
