Bread: Baguette with Fried Onions and Processed Cheese, Preparation with Thermomix
The perfect bread: baguette with fried onions and processed cheese, preparation with thermomix recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
for the yeast dough:
- 600 g Flour, preferably type 630 spelled
- 300 g Lukewarm water
- 75 g Processed herb cheese, corresponds to 3 corners
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 pinch Sugar
- 1 cube Yeast
for the filling:
- 1 tsp Sweet paprika
- 100 g Soft butter or margarine
- 100 g Roasted onions
- 0,5 tsp Salt
- 1 tsp Ground bread spice to taste
- The bread can of course also be prepared without the Thermomix! The preparation is lightning fast: Put the ingredients for the dough in the mixing bowl and use the kneading setting for 2 minutes to form a smooth dough.
- You can now either roll out the dough on a floured work surface into an approx. 30 x 50 cm rectangle, or press / shape it with your hands into a correspondingly large rectangle on the baking sheet lined with baking paper (previously lightly floured).
- Put the ingredients for the filling in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 seconds on speed 4. Spread the filling on the dough and roll up the dough from the longer side. It is best to place it diagonally on the baking sheet so that the baguette has space.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes. Alternatively, cover and let rise in the oven at approx. 35 – 40 degrees. When the bread has increased significantly in volume, bake in the preheated oven on the middle shelf at 200 degrees top / bottom heat for about 25 minutes until golden yellow.
- Let the bread cool down and cut it into nice slices so that you can see the filling.
