Jaroma Cabbage – Vegetable or Salad

The perfect jaroma cabbage – vegetable or salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Jaroma cabbage
  • 125 g Ham cubes
  • 1 tsp Cumin / cumin
  • 1 tsp Colorful pepper
  • 1 tbsp Rapeseed oil
  • 1 piece Shallot
  • 200 ml Riesling
  1. Roast the cumin without any fat in the pan, put it in the mortar, add the pepper mix (with a little allspice).
  2. Briefly fry the ham in the pan over medium heat. Put aside.
  3. Remove the cabbage from the stalk and cut into strips, Peel the shallot, cut in half and cut into small pieces.
  4. Fry the cabbage strips with the shallot in rapeseed oil over medium heat.
  5. Stir in the spice mixture from the mortar.
  6. Deglaze with Riesling (young, delicately fruity), cover for 3 minutes.
  7. Add the ham cubes – done!
