Speculoos – Apple – Waffles
The perfect speculoos – apple – waffles recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
We still need :
- 1 Pc. Waffle maker
toast:
- 30 g Oatmeal
- 120 g Sugar
Dough :
- 200 g Margarine
- 4 Pc. Free range eggs
- 250 g Sifted flour
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- 60 g Chopped nuts
- 2 Pc. Apple boskop
- 1 tsp Speculoos seasoning
- 125 ml Milk
If you still need it: beat until stiff with V. Zucker
- 200 ml Cream
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar brown
to taste:
- 0,25 teaspoon Ground cinnamon
Sprinkle waffles:
- 2 tablespoon Powdered sugar
for the waffle iron:
- Fat
- Roast the oat flakes until golden brown, caramelize with 20 g sugar. Then place on baking paper and let cool down.
- Mix the remaining sugar and margarine until frothy.
- Gradually add the eggs and stir in. Mix in flour and baking powder.
- Peel the apples, grate and add the nuts and spices.
- Pour the milk into the dough, stir the dough until smooth.
- Heat up the waffle iron, then brush with a little fat and put small amounts of batter into the iron. Bake until golden brown (adjust iron to temperature).
- Whip the cream with vanilla sugar until stiff and season with cinnamon.
- Dust the waffles with a little icing sugar. Sprinkle with the oatmeal and serve. Serve the cinnamon cream separately.
- The cream was too much for me. They taste super tasty, best when they are warm.
