4-cheese Tarte Flambée

The perfect 4-cheese tarte flambée recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Flame Cake Dough:

  • 120 ml Warm water
  • 6 g Yeast fresh
  • 200 g Spelled flour
  • 1 pinch Salt

Covering:

  • 200 g Low-Fat cream cheese, e.g. from Tresana
  • Sweet paprika powder
  • Salt
  • 4 Fresh spring onions in rings
  • 100 g Grated Emmental
  • 100 g Pie brie in slices
  • 100 g Freshly grated Parmesan

Flame Cake Dough:

  1. Crumble the yeast in warm water, then add the salt and gradually knead in the flour. Until a tough dough is formed! Let rise covered in a warm place for 45 minutes!

Preheat oven to 220 degrees!

  1. Then roll out the dough in a rectangle on baking paper. Brush with cream cheese and sprinkle with paprika powder and salt. Then cover one after the other with spring onions, Emmental cheese, sweetbreads and Parmesan.
  2. Bake the flame cake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes.
