Lamb and Apricot Skewers

The perfect lamb and apricot skewers recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

for the marinade:

  • 10 Pc. Apricots
  • 0,5 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 bunch Fresh mint, finely chopped
  • 7 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Ground cumin, cumin
  • Salt pepper
  • 1 tsp Chilli flakes
  • 1 Pc. Clove of garlic, finely chopped
  1. Cut the meat into bite-sized cubes. For the marinade, stir together the specified ingredients and marinate the meat in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, but better overnight.
  2. Halve the apricots, remove the core and stick them alternately with the lamb pieces on a skewer.
  3. Grill on the grill for approx. 6 – 10 minutes while turning or alternatively sear them briefly in the pan on all sides, then finish cooking in a hot oven at approx. 80 degrees for approx. 15 – 25 minutes.
  4. Instead of apricots you can also use other fruits, e.g. peaches, plums, figs etc …
