Mirabelle Plum Liqueur
The perfect mirabelle plum liqueur recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 g Fresh mirabelle plums
- 300 g Rock sugar
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 0,5 liter Vodka
- I got the mirabelle plums from a wild tree in the forest. The taste of the fruit is very intense, so I came up with this idea.
- Wash the mirabelles, cut into them and put in a large container (with a clip lock). Sprinkle rock sugar over the top. Slice the vanilla pod, add it and pour vodka over it until everything is covered.
- Now patience is called for again, because the whole thing has to take at least 8 – 12 weeks to shake it up again and again.
- Filter and pull on beautiful bottles. Bottom up!
