Ingredients
 

fruit

  • 380 g Mango pulp
  • 120 g Fresh mirabelle

seasoning

  • 0,125 piece Vanilla pod

Gelling agent

  • 250 g Preserving sugar 3: 1

  • Cut the mango from both sides of the core, cut the flesh into longitudinal and horizontal strips, bend the peel outwards and remove the flesh ... Wash the mirabelle plums, core them and cut roughly into pieces ... Divide the vanilla pods into three strips
  • Mix the mango and mirabelle pieces with the vanilla pod and preserving sugar in a saucepan and leave to steep in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes
  • Rinse glasses with hot water

Cook

  • Bring the fruit-sugar mix to a boil and let it simmer for at least 4 minutes ... remove the vanilla pieces and puree them finely ... fill the glasses, screw them on, cool them upside down (approx. 10 minutes) and let them cool down

Storage & shelf life

  • Opened in the refrigerator for several weeks and unopened in the cellar for several months
