fruit
- 380 g Mango pulp
- 120 g Fresh mirabelle
seasoning
- 0,125 piece Vanilla pod
Gelling agent
- 250 g Preserving sugar 3: 1
preparation
- Cut the mango from both sides of the core, cut the flesh into longitudinal and horizontal strips, bend the peel outwards and remove the flesh … Wash the mirabelle plums, core them and cut roughly into pieces … Divide the vanilla pods into three strips
- Mix the mango and mirabelle pieces with the vanilla pod and preserving sugar in a saucepan and leave to steep in the refrigerator for at least 60 minutes
- Rinse glasses with hot water
Cook
- Bring the fruit-sugar mix to a boil and let it simmer for at least 4 minutes … remove the vanilla pieces and puree them finely … fill the glasses, screw them on, cool them upside down (approx. 10 minutes) and let them cool down
Storage & shelf life
- Opened in the refrigerator for several weeks and unopened in the cellar for several months
