Red Berry Pie
The perfect red berry pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
For the ground:
- 2 Eggs
- 4 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Flour
- 1 tbsp Cornstarch
- 1 packet Baking powder
For the cream:
- 1 kg Red fruit jelly
- 500 g Quark
- 2 packet Vanilla sugar
- 12 sheet Gelatin
- 200 g Cream
Floor:
- Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Mix the flour, baking powder and cornstarch, sieve over the eggs and mix everything together well. !!! It is not necessary to add butter / shortening!
- Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 20 minutes.
- Let the bottom cool in the pan. Loosen the edge and close it around the bottom again.
Cream:
- Smooth the red groats with quark and vanilla sugar.
- Dissolve the gelatine according to the instructions on the package and stir into the red grits cream.
- Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
- Pour the red jelly cream into the springform pan and smooth it out.
- Put the red jelly cake in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).
