Red Berry Pie

The perfect red berry pie recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

For the ground:

  • 2 Eggs
  • 4 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Flour
  • 1 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 packet Baking powder

For the cream:

  • 1 kg Red fruit jelly
  • 500 g Quark
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 12 sheet Gelatin
  • 200 g Cream

Floor:

  1. Beat eggs and sugar until frothy. Mix the flour, baking powder and cornstarch, sieve over the eggs and mix everything together well. !!! It is not necessary to add butter / shortening!
  2. Pour the dough into a greased springform pan and bake in a preheated oven at 175 ° C for about 20 minutes.
  3. Let the bottom cool in the pan. Loosen the edge and close it around the bottom again.

Cream:

  1. Smooth the red groats with quark and vanilla sugar.
  2. Dissolve the gelatine according to the instructions on the package and stir into the red grits cream.
  3. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
  4. Pour the red jelly cream into the springform pan and smooth it out.
  5. Put the red jelly cake in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours (preferably overnight).
