Red Fruit Jelly

The perfect red fruit jelly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 250 g Cherries
  • 250 g Strawberries
  • 250 g Blackberries
  • 250 g Currants
  • 250 g Raspberries
  • 250 g Blueberries
  • 250 g Sugar
  • 1 Cinnamon stick
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 350 ml Red wine
  • 250 ml Water
  • 100 g Cream pudding powder
  • Milk to stir
  1. Wash and clean the fruits and stone the cherries. Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the pulp.
  2. Put the water, red wine, vanilla pulp, cinnamon stick and sugar in a large saucepan and bring everything to a boil.
  3. Add half of the fruits and simmer for about 15 minutes while stirring (the fruits disintegrate into a pulp).
  4. Remove the cinnamon stick. Mix the pudding powder with a little milk, stir into the fruit pulp and bring the whole thing to a boil again.
  5. Fold in the remaining fruits and let the red fruit jelly cool down.

  1. vanilla sauce or vanilla ice cream
