Red Fruit Jelly
The perfect red fruit jelly recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 250 g Cherries
- 250 g Strawberries
- 250 g Blackberries
- 250 g Currants
- 250 g Raspberries
- 250 g Blueberries
- 250 g Sugar
- 1 Cinnamon stick
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 350 ml Red wine
- 250 ml Water
- 100 g Cream pudding powder
- Milk to stir
- Wash and clean the fruits and stone the cherries. Halve the vanilla pod and scrape out the pulp.
- Put the water, red wine, vanilla pulp, cinnamon stick and sugar in a large saucepan and bring everything to a boil.
- Add half of the fruits and simmer for about 15 minutes while stirring (the fruits disintegrate into a pulp).
- Remove the cinnamon stick. Mix the pudding powder with a little milk, stir into the fruit pulp and bring the whole thing to a boil again.
- Fold in the remaining fruits and let the red fruit jelly cool down.
