Asparagus White

The perfect asparagus white recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 500 g Asparagus white fresh
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Lemon juice
  • Butter
  1. Peel the asparagus
  2. Bring the asparagus to a boil in a shallow or asparagus pot with plenty of water with butter, salt, sugar and lemon juice and then cook over a low heat for about 20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the asparagus stalks.
  3. Before serving, pour one or two flakes of butter over the asparagus. I had veal schnitzel from my KB and boiled potatoes.
