Baked Apple Rings

The perfect baked apple rings recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Apples
  • 150 gr Flour
  • 150 gr Powdered sugar and something to dust
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 tsp Cinammon
  • 0,5 packet Baking powder
  • 2 cups Cooking oil
  • 50 ml Milk
  1. Work the flour, powdered sugar, eggs, cinnamon, baking powder and milk into a dough. The dough shouldn’t be too thick.
  1. Peel the apples. Cut each apple into 3-4 slices. Remove the stones in the middle of the apple ring.
  1. Heat the cooking oil in a pan. Dip the apple rings in the batter and place in the heated pan and fry until golden brown on both sides.
  1. Drain on a plate. When all the apple rings are used up, place them on a serving platter and dust with powdered sugar.
  1. Serve warm or cold. This goes well with vanilla ice cream, cream or vanilla sauce
