Creamy Ham and Leek Sauce
The perfect creamy ham and leek sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 1 pole Fresh leek
- 100 g Cooked ham
- Fat for frying
- 50 Milliliters White wine dry
- 100 g Whipped cream
- 100 g Sour cream
- Pepper, nutmeg
- 250 g Macaroni
- Salt
- Clean the leek, quarter lengthways, cut into small pieces and wash. Cut the ham into cubes.
- Fry the ham in hot fat. Add the leek, dripping wet, sweat with it. Pour in the wine. Braise the whole thing for about 7 minutes.
- Stir in the cream and sour cream. Season with pepper and nutmeg.
- Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and drain. Catch some pasta water and use it to make the sauce a little thinner.
- Place the macaroni on a plate and pour the sauce over it.
