Ham and Mince Rolls in Creamy Tomato Sauce

The perfect ham and mince rolls in creamy tomato sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 12 Discs Cooked ham
  • 1 kg Thuringian Mett
  • 1 Onion
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1,5 tsp Mustard
  • 3 tbsp Breadcrumbs
  • Salt, pepper, paprika powder noble sweet

  • 200 g Sour cream
  • 100 ml Cream
  • 200 ml Milk
  • 1 tsp Dried italian herbs
  • Vegetable stock powder

  • 100 g Grated Gouda or more
  1. Peel and finely dice the onion. Season the mince well with salt, pepper and paprika powder, then knead with onion cubes, eggs, mustard and breadcrumbs. Shape it into 12 rolls.
  2. Roll each of the rolls into a slice of cooked ham. Put them next to each other in a baking dish.
  3. Puree the tomatoes with sour cream, cream and milk, season with salt, pepper, vegetable stock and herbs. Pour the sauce evenly over the rolls and bake on (electric stove: 200 ° C / fan: 175 ° C / gas: level 3) for about 20 minutes. Spread the cheese on top and bake for another 25-30 minutes.
