Creamy Ham and Leek Sauce

The perfect creamy ham and leek sauce recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 pole Fresh leek
  • 100 g Cooked ham
  • Fat for frying
  • 50 Milliliters White wine dry
  • 100 g Whipped cream
  • 100 g Sour cream
  • Pepper, nutmeg
  • 250 g Macaroni
  • Salt
  1. Clean the leek, quarter lengthways, cut into small pieces and wash. Cut the ham into cubes.
  2. Fry the ham in hot fat. Add the leek, dripping wet, sweat with it. Pour in the wine. Braise the whole thing for about 7 minutes.
  3. Stir in the cream and sour cream. Season with pepper and nutmeg.
  4. Cook the macaroni in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and drain. Catch some pasta water and use it to make the sauce a little thinner.
  5. Place the macaroni on a plate and pour the sauce over it.
