Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 3 tbsp butter or clarified butter
- 4 tbsp semolina
- 1 liter meat broth
- 1 pinch(s) nutmeg, grated
- Salt
- Chive rolls
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Bavarian soup
Melt the butter in a large saucepan and brown the semolina. Pour in the broth and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt and grated nutmeg. Garnish the soup with chives to serve. Tip: Browned onions go especially well with this soup.
