Green garlic beans

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 jar green beans
  • 1 tsp margarine
  • 1 tsp butter
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp savory
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Melt margarine and butter in a saucepan. Briefly fry finely chopped (not crushed) garlic cloves in it. Drain the beans, reserving the bean water. Briefly fry the beans in the pan and toss well. Season with salt, pepper, and savory. Then add half of the reserved bean water. Continue simmering for about 20 minutes over medium heat. Serve hot.
