Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 50 g butter
  • 75 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 200 g flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 100 g almonds, chopped
  • 1 liter of oil for frying
  • 50 g icing sugar for sprinkling

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 2 minutes; Total time approx. 17 minutes

for approx. 45 pieces, simple

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs. Fold in flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and almonds. Heat the oil in a sufficiently large saucepan. When bubbles rise from a wooden spoon, it’s hot enough. Using two teaspoons, scoop out a small amount of dough and fry in the oil until light brown. Then dust with powdered sugar. Makes approximately 45 loaves.
