Carrot vegetables very easy and quick

Peel the carrots and potatoes. Cut everything into small pieces so it cooks quicker. Finely chop the onion and set everything aside. Melt the butter in a large pot and sauté the onion. Add the finely chopped carrots and potatoes to the pot and fill with water. Just enough to cover everything. Add a little salt to the water. Bring the water to a boil and simmer until the water has almost disappeared. Make sure you stir more often towards the end and reduce the heat a bit so nothing burns. Once the water has evaporated, remove the pot from the heat. Mash everything in the pot well with a potato masher to create a nice, fine mixture. Season to taste with salt, pepper, and mustard. Finally, bury the sausages in the vegetables to warm them up.
