Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g quark
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • Flour until the dough is no longer sticky

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

makes 48 croissants

Combine the quark, eggs, sugar, baking powder, and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl. Gradually add enough flour until the dough is no longer sticky. Divide the dough into 6 balls and roll them out to about 5 mm thick. Cut each dough circle into 8 “cake slices” and roll each piece from the wide, rounded edge to the tip. Arrange the croissants on baking sheets lined with baking paper and bake at 200°C for about 20 minutes. You can also fill the croissants with a dollop of jam.
