Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 750 g beans, large green
  • 2 onions
  • 4 large tomatoes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 pinches of white pepper
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 shot of vinegar (wine vinegar)
  • 2 tbsp parsley, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Portuguese green beans

Cut the beans into strips, the onions into rings, and peel and slice the tomatoes. Fry everything in oil, add hot water, season with salt and pepper, and cook covered for 30 minutes. Mix the flour with water, thicken the vegetables, season with vinegar, and sprinkle with parsley.
