Ingredients for 6 servings:
- 1,500 g low-fat curd cheese
- 500 g yogurt
- 5 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp herb vinegar
- 1 cucumber(s)
- n. B. Garlic clove(s), approx. 4 – 8, depending on taste
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 20 minutes
Combine the quark, yogurt, olive oil, and vinegar in a large bowl. Peel the garlic and press it in. Peel the cucumber, if desired, then coarsely grate it and add it. Depending on the consistency, add a little milk until creamy. If the mixture was already quite runny, press the cucumber through a sieve. Season with salt and pepper and let it sit for at least 2-3 hours, preferably overnight. Serve with warm flatbread or baguette.
