Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 280 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp beet syrup
  • 200 g butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 400 g flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 bag of vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 300 g dark chocolate, chopped into small pieces

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest period approx. 1 day; Total time approx. 1 day 20 minutes

Also great as a gift

Cream the butter with sugar, syrup, and eggs until creamy. Add the flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, salt, and chocolate, and knead everything into a dough. Cover and let the dough rest in the refrigerator for 24 hours. The next day, use a small spoon to drop the dough onto a baking sheet. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 10-15 minutes, depending on how light or dark you want the cookies. Check the oven frequently to make sure the cookies don’t overcook too quickly.
