Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g butter
  • 125 g sugar
  • 125 g brown sugar
  • 200 g flour
  • 50 g cocoa powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 100 g nuts, chopped
  • 200 g chocolate, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Probably the most chocolatey cookies…..

Preheat the oven to 190°C. Combine the flour, cocoa, and baking soda. Cream the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Then add the flour mixture and mix well. Finally, stir in the nuts and chocolate chips. (Note: The batter WILL be very dark!!!) Use a teaspoon to place small heaps onto an ungreased baking sheet and bake for about 10-15 minutes, until the surface is just slightly shimmering (not shiny). Let rest briefly on the baking sheet, then carefully lift the batter onto a wire rack and let cool. Makes about 50.
