Quark balls with apple

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg potatoes, preferably from the previous day
  • 2 large apples
  • 500 g quark
  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • n. B. Nutmeg
  • Fat, for frying
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Mash the potatoes into a large bowl. Peel and core the apples, and grate them into the potatoes. Add the quark, flour, sugar, and eggs (or nutmeg if you like) and mix well. Form the potato mixture into small cakes or patties and fry in oil until golden brown. Serve with cinnamon and sugar.
