Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 140 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 100 g butter, soft
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 200 g flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 130 g white chocolate
  • 80 g nuts (macadamia nuts)

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

…with white chocolate and nuts

In a mixing bowl, mix the sugar with the syrup until no lumps remain. Stir in the softened butter and egg. In a second bowl, combine the flour, baking soda, and salt and add to the butter mixture. Briefly mix everything into a soft dough, but don’t overmix! Preheat the oven to 180°C. Chop the white chocolate and nuts (salted nuts can also be used – rub them with a kitchen towel beforehand and omit the salt in the dough). Briefly stir both into the batter. Line two baking sheets with baking paper and drop the batter onto the sheets using a tablespoon, leaving about 5 cm between each layer. Bake the cookies for about 15 minutes at 160°C, until the edges are light brown. Then let them cool on the sheets. This makes about 30 cookies.
